Milo Jude

After 40 weeks and 2 days Milo Jude has finally joined us. On Sunday morning Kristin went into labor at home around 9:30 am and we got to the hospital at noon. By 5:00 it was time to push. Kristin pushed for 2 and a half hours (he was face up instead of face down i.e. back labor).
On June 8th, 2008, at 7:41 pm he quietly entered the world weighing 7 lbs. 13 oz. and measuring 19 ½ inches. I was overwhelmed at the sight of his birth. He scored an impressive 9 out of 10 on his APGAR test, which for those of you who don’t have kids means he is already a genius! ☺

Milo has been a joy, he only cries when he is uncomfortable and stops right when you pick him up and hold him close. He has a full head of dark hair and his nose looks just like mine did as a baby.
