Well, I am sitting here at 4:30 in the morning...trying to be patient. I am so excited for this little baby to arrive and being the control freak that I am, waiting and not knowing when it will happen is difficult. I guess this is my first test as a mother...patience. I cannot even begin to imagine the amount I will need in the days, weeks and years to come.
While I am excited, part of me is also terrified. But I guess you need a little bit of terror to be a good parent, no one can accuse me of being unrealistic...the journey ahead will be difficult. But, I am so excited to meet my little boy and love him on the outside as I have while he's been on the inside. I cannot wait to meet the love that is ready to greet me. Come quickly little guy...or not...Mama could learn to be a little more patient!

I love that you are blogging at 4:30 am - that's why we are friends. You are so cute :) You are going to be such a good mommy! As a fellow control freak, I can relate to the lack of patience. When you figure out how to be patient, please let me know your secret.
I cannot wait to see this dark-curly headed little boy. That is the way I have always imagined him, even before you were pregnant.
Now I must know if my imagination is accurate. So go walk around the neighborhood and get this show on the road. Don't be too patient!

You are not blogging at 4:30 in the morning. I can't imagine doing that! :) My sister went to the hospital this morning. I'm not sure what's going to happen--she is 5 days late. Hopefully the baby will come soon! :) for you too! The nursery is amazing--you and Kim are good at decorating. I need some help. Where did you get the changing pad cover? I've been looking for some new ones and can't find any.
