Labor Day Weekend, Parks and Family

Over Labor Day weekend by Aunt Nancy and Grandpa Irv came for a visit. As always it was great to see them and we enjoyed a BBQ, time at the park, Millennium Park and a theater show outside by the lake.

This was Milo's first time playing in the sand, he wasn't quite sure what to think!
When Milo discovered this slide it was hilarious, he kept diving in head first (and I mean diving)! He LOVED it, he probably went down 50 times! He was squealing in delight!

Don and Mary wanted to join in the fun!
On Monday we went downtown to Millennium Park. Here's how Milo enjoyed his train ride there...
Running through the grass with Dad

Lucy looking cute in her shades
Family shot by the Bean
Checking out the water fountain
Aunt Nancy doing what aunts do best...sharing a treat!

What a fun weekend!

What a fantastic weekend with the family! So many cool places to visit so close to home! We will have to make sure we go to a park with Milo so I can watch him dive down the slide.

We might need to go there the next time we visit you.
I like the picture of Eric and Milo walking together- Milo's big boy step. ;)
